Solutions Developer (J2EE)
The Solutions Developer designs and develops J2EE software components (integration components and/or extensions, workflows) on the SEAL platform, based on the functional specification document drawn up by the Functional Consultant, using various APIs available in SEAL or in our clients’ systems.
JOB DESCRIPTION
Role:
- Assist the functional consultant in translating business requirements into technical specifications.
- Design and develop software components (integration components and/or extensions, workflows) on the SEAL platform (https://seal-online.com/), using various APIs available in SEAL or in our clients’ systems.
- Implement non-functional requirements, with a particular focus on security, scalability, and performance.
- Involvement in all phases of software development and ensuring their execution in accordance with technical and business specifications.
- Drafting technical documentation for the developed software components (such as installation guides, configuration guides, etc.).
- Providing “Level 3” support for the developed software solution.
You are an ideal candidate if you have:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or computer engineer or equivalent training
- Solid understanding of object-oriented programming and design patterns
- Advanced level English, both written and spoken
- Previous experience: At least 4 years development experience using Java / J2EE technology
- Basic knowledge of SQL language and experience with JPA / Hibernate technologies
- Experience working with APIs (RESTful/SOAP/Java) and integrations with 3rd parties
- Experience with Git
- Experience with BPM (Business Process Management) developments using any platform (e.g.: jBPM) is an advantage
- Ability to understand functional / business requirements and translate them into technical requirements;
- Analytical mind with strong problem-solving aptitudes
- Ability to work both independently, and as part of a team
- Time and tasks management skills, ability to meet deadlines
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
