Senior IT Project Manager, 5 years of experience
The Senior IT Project Manager is responsible for overseeing the planning and implementation of digital and automation projects. The Senior IT Project Manager works closely with the client and implementation resources to define project scope, objectives and implementation schedule, create project plans, manage resources, track progress and ensure timely completion of deliverables within budget and quality standards. Also communicates project updates and risks to stakeholders and collaborates with multi-disciplinary implementation teams to achieve project success.
JOB DESCRIPTION
Role:
- Optimal allocation of resources and ensuring the successful implementation of project objectives (time, quality and costs);
- Key Performance Indicators: PCV (Project Cost Variance), PSV (Project Schedule Variance), Billability (for resources per project during the project allocation period), CSS (Customer Satisfaction Score)
- Oversee activities related to assigned projects by directly monitoring the work of technical and functional implementation teams, consultants and support staff;
- Prepares activity plans and resource plans necessary to achieve project objectives;
- Monitors the progress towards achieving the objectives and prepares bi-monthly reports on the progress in relation to their planning and objectives;
- Ensures the circulation of information between different areas of activity and between internal teams and the client through preparation and active participation in meetings related to the project;
- Motivates the members of the project team by regular communication with them, by guidance and by regularly assesing their performances in relation to the objectives of the projects in which they participate;
- Recommends and monitors the implementation of training programs for project team members aimed at increasing the skills and abilities to implement the objectives;
- Ensures solutions for problems within the area of authority and requests support, if needed, from hierarchical superiors or other members of the company’s senior management, responsible for the respective areas for solving problems that exceed the area of authority;
- Justifies any new expenses necessary for the successful implementation of a project;
- Approves the necessary records to ensure the payment of goods and services purchased for the implementation of projects;
- Assists the staff in the Procurement / Administrative department in the purchase of goods and services necessary for each project; Participates in the evaluation of offers in order to recommend the best purchase solution;
- Ensures the reception and quality of purchased goods and services and makes recommendations to the personnel in the Procurement / Administrative department;
- Makes suggestions for improving specific processes in order to maximize efficiency in achieving project objectives;
- Keeps all the documents related to the projects and archives them in accordance with the time periods established in accordance with the law and the internal regulation;
- Responsible for the accuracy and compliance of the documents drawn up and which reflect the full progress of the operations carried out.
You are an ideal candidate if you have:
- Bachelor’s degree
- Advanced level English, both written and spoken.
- Previous experience: At least 5 years of experience in a similar position (project / program management). Experience in international projects – is an advantage. Previous experience with ECM (Enterprise Content Management), DMS (Document Management Systems), BPM (Business Process Management), RPA (Robotic Process Automation) – is an advantage.
- A good understanding of project management methodologies, tools and techniques.
- Knowledge of project management software such as Microsoft Project or JIRA.
- Specific certifications or courses in the field of Project Management, such as: Project Management Professional (PMP), Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM), PRINCE2, Agile Certified Practitioner (ACP), Certified Project Manager (CPM) – is an advantage.
- Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
- Project Management: Demonstrated ability to manage project budgets, resources and timelines. Proven ability to motivate and guide the project teams to achieve maximum performance. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks effectively.
