Enterprise Client Director

The Enterprise Client Director is a senior individual contributor sales position focused on winning and growing enterprise accounts through a consultative, complex sales approach. This role requires deep expertise in selling business solutions directly to end-user organizations (not through channel partners), engaging C-level executives and senior decision-makers, and navigating long, multi-stakeholder sales cycles typical of enterprise software.
The ideal candidate has a strong track record of personally closing complex deals with large organizations across industries such as banking, insurance, energy, manufacturing, construction, and retail. The role is centered on Axivant’s enterprise platform, SEAL, delivering digital transformation and automation solutions tailored to each customer’s strategic priorities.
JOB DESCRIPTION
Role:
- Revenue target achievement: Consistently meet and exceed assigned sales quotas and revenue targets on a quarterly and annual basis.
- Direct sales to end-users: Sell directly to enterprise customers (end-user organizations), managing the full sales cycle without reliance on channel partners or resellers.
- Account planning and strategy: Develop and execute account plans for target and existing enterprise customers, identifying expansion and cross-sell opportunities within assigned accounts.
- Enterprise account acquisition: Identify, qualify, and pursue new enterprise-level customers through direct sales engagement, building a robust pipeline of high-value opportunities.
- Consultative selling: Lead complex, solution-based sales processes from initial discovery through closing, aligning SEAL platform capabilities with the customer’s business challenges and strategic objectives.
- C-level engagement: Build trusted relationships with C-level executives (CIO, CDO, CTO, COO, CFO, CEO) and senior stakeholders, positioning Axivant as a strategic technology partner in the document management and automation space.
- CRM and reporting discipline: Maintain accurate pipeline data, forecasts, and activity records in the company CRM system; provide regular reporting to sales leadership.
- Market intelligence: Monitor market trends, competitive landscape, and industry developments to refine sales approach and identify emerging opportunities.
- Proposal and negotiation leadership: Lead the preparation of tailored proposals, business cases, and commercial negotiations, ensuring alignment with customer requirements and company objectives.
- Cross-functional collaboration: Work closely with presales, marketing, product, and delivery teams to ensure optimal solution design, customer experience, and successful project handover.
You are an ideal candidate if you have:
- Higher education: University degree, preferably in a technical field (Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or related disciplines).
- English proficiency: Conversational level of English, both written and spoken; advanced proficiency is a plus.
- Enterprise sales experience: Minimum 7 years of direct sales experience in B2B environments, with at least 5 years selling complex solutions (ideally enterprise software or technology platforms) to large organizations.
- Proven track record: Demonstrated and verifiable history of consistently achieving or exceeding sales targets over the last 5 years, with documented deal sizes and revenue contribution.
- C-level selling expertise: Proven ability to engage, influence, and close deals with C-level executives and senior decision-makers at enterprise organizations.
- Direct sales orientation: Extensive experience selling directly to end-user customers (enterprise organizations), not through distribution channels or partner networks.
- Industry knowledge: Understanding of the enterprise IT landscape, digital transformation trends, and business process automation. Experience in industries such as banking, insurance, energy, manufacturing, construction, or retail is a strong advantage.
- Consultative and complex sales skills: Strong ability to manage multi-stakeholder, long-cycle sales processes. Experience with consultative selling methodologies (e.g., MEDDIC, SPIN, Challenger Sale, Solution Selling) is a significant advantage.
- Results-oriented mindset: Proactive, goal-driven approach with a strong sense of ownership, urgency, and accountability for results.
- Customer relationship excellence: Skilled in building and maintaining long-term, trust-based relationships with senior executives and key stakeholders.
- Effective communication and presentation skills: Ability to present complex solutions clearly and persuasively to both technical and business audiences.
